How to Set Up Q-Channel?

Q-Channel distributes your hotel data across the AI ecosystem through two complementary components: Q-Share (for your digital touchpoints and Schema.org) and Q-MCP (for public and private AI systems). Before connecting any channel, the quality of what you distribute depends entirely on the quality of your source data in Q-Data. Follow the steps below in order.

1/Check and Optimize Your Information in Q-Data

Q-Data is the single source of truth that feeds Q-Channel. Everything AI systems, websites, and distribution platforms read about your hotel comes from here, so this step is the foundation of the whole setup.

Prioritize structured answers. When reviewing your information, select the structured answer option wherever possible. Structured answers are the data points Q-Channel distributes and that AI systems can reliably read, interpret, and reuse. The more of your information is structured, the more accurate and discoverable your hotel becomes.

If you must use a Custom answer, still fill in the structured answer. For some operational reasons you may need a Custom answer for a specific use case. When that happens, always complete the corresponding structured answer as well. The structured answer is the one used by Q-Channel, so leaving it empty means that information will not be distributed across your channels and AI systems.

2/Update Your Hotel Photos in Q-Storage

Visual content is a key part of how AI systems and platforms represent your hotel. Take the time to get this right.

Upload at maximum quality. All hotel photos must be uploaded to Q-Storage in the highest available quality. Low-resolution or outdated images weaken how your property is displayed across channels.

Fill in tags and metadata carefully. Each image's tags and metadata must be completed thoroughly. Well-described visuals allow AI systems to understand and reuse your content in a relevant way, matching the right image to the right context, query, or platform.

3/Set Up Q-Share and Q-MCP

Once your Q-Data is clean and complete and your photos are properly stored and tagged, you can configure Q-Share and Q-MCP. Our step-by-step guides walk you through each one:

Q-Share distributes 4,000 structured data points from Q-Data across your website, mobile app, CMS, and other digital touchpoints, and automatically maintains your Schema.org file for generative search.

Q-MCP (Quinta Model Context Protocol) connects public and private AI systems to your certified Q-Data in a standardized, secure, and governed way.

Follow the instructions for the assistant your hotel uses:
